Hypothalamic Amenorrhea Course
We adjusted our original Fit Fueling course curriculum to reflect topics that better support women in recovery from Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (HA). This course is in no way meant to be either diagnostic, or a replacement for personal medical care. We encourage all of our participants to use this course for guidance, additional support, and a community in their recovery. We’ve included the general course outline below.
What you can expect:
Welcome Week: Defining HA, what may cause it, and what it means to be “all in” with your recovery efforts
Weeks 1-2: Examining energy availability, nutrition specifics for HA recovery, sports nutrition for adequate fueling, and core concepts of Intuitive Eating (IE)
Week 3: Unlearning rigid and restrictive food habits and food rules, the diet mentality, and helping you find joyful movement
Week 4: Putting it all together, and taking charge in your recovery!
